Artist Details:Stanley Anderson RE. Born in Bristol, son of a working engraver who set him to a seven year apprenticeship. Studied under Frank Short at the Royal College of Art. Produced around 160 etchings and drypoints (1929-1938) and line engravings (1919-1938) mainly of architecture and human activities. A complete collection of his etchings are in the Ashmolean Museum..
