Count Albert de Belleroche was born in Swansea and studied under Carolus-Duran in Paris where he shared a studio with John Singer Sargent. He was influenced by impressionism and worked in France until 1911 when he settled in England. Exhibited Paris Salon from 1887. Member of N.E.A.C. 1894-9 and was a founder member of Salon d’Automne in 1903. One-man show of lithographs in Vienna, 1902, Goupil Gallery, 1903 and a retrospective at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff in 1942.
