Andrew Watson Turnbull, painter, etcher and stained glass designer studied at the Royal College of Art in Edinburgh, 1895-6. Attended Royal College of Art Schools 1897-1902 with Luke Fildes and George Clausen. Exhibited RA, RSA and at the Paris Salons.
Partner in stained glass design and manufacturing company: Turnbull & Ochterlony. Works held in the Birmingham City Museum and at the British Museum where the artist bequeathed a complete set of 158 etchings in 1957.
