Francis Seymour Haden
Sir Francis Seymour Haden PRE. started etching in the 1840’s but his main body of etchings started in 1858 when Whistler came to London from Paris to visit his soon to be brother-in-law Haden. The two often etched together and influenced each others style initially. Haden produced over 250 etchings the majority between 1859 and 1865.
