The Scottish artist John Cameron was exhibiting c.1888-1931. He exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academic International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Engravers and at the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts. Ref: Benezit Dictionary of British Artists. He is also listed in Guichard: British Etchers 1850-1940.pub. Garton 1977. A competent etcher of mainly landscapes and architectural subjects whose work appears occasionally at auction.
