Kate(Katherine ) Charlotte Ambrose wrote and illustrated mainly books on ballet,she was Artistic Director with the National Ballet of Canada,designing many of the company’s ballets incl. Swan Lake,Giselle, Coppelia and the Nutcracker. Ref.Horne 1994, page 69.
