Leslie Charlotte Benenson was born in London. She worked in various medium, oil, water-colour, sculptor and wood-engraving. Studied at the Regent Street Polytechnic under Geoffrey Deeley and James Osborne 1958-63. Awarded the National Diploma in Design 1962. Elected member of the Society of Scribes & Illuminators 1963. Associate member of the Society of Painter Print-makers 1974, where she had exhibited since 1963. Elected Member 1978. Exhibited R.A. 1962, Towner Gallery, Ashmolean and Herford Museums. and at the International Exlibriscentrum and widely in Europe. Solo exhibitions at the Rye Gallery and Michelham Priory twice.
