Richard Shirley-Smith
Richard Francis Shirley Smith studied at the Slade School of Fine art (1956-60) under Anthony Gross. He lectured at St. Albans School of Art (1963) and was head of the Art Dept. at Marlborough School (1966-70). He illustrates books and makes bookplates with wood engravings mainly for the private presses.
