Simon Brett studied at the St. Martins School of art (1960-64) under Clifford Webb for wood engraving. He taught part time at Marlborough College (1971-89) elected ARE and SWE in 1986. In 1981 he established the Paulinus Press and has illustrated many books for this and other private presses
