Artist
Sylvia Marshall
There is little known about Sylvia Marshall but she was working and illustrating books in the mid 1930’s. Two books for the Tintern Press of Vincent Stuart were illustrated by her namely, “Cherry Ripe” by A.E.Coppard. 1935 and “The Scull” by Rhys Davies in 1936. Her style has some affinity with the Brook Green school of Leon Underwood and engravers like Blair Hughes-Stanton and Gertrude Hermes.
