Theodore Casimir Roussel ARE.born in Brittany. studied in Paris and settled in Britain where he began etching in 1888. The artist lived in Chelsea in the 1880’s and many of his early plates are of that area. He produced some 80 or so etchings and a few lithographs the last being views of Hastings where he lived in the 1920’s.
