John Everett Millais, the Pre-Raphaelite painter made a few etchings between the years 1849-1875. He was a member of the Etching Club and also a member of the Junior Etching Club and contributed to their etching publications. Many of his paintings had engravings made after them by professional engravers. He was also an illustrator of magazines and books of the 1860’s especially in the medium of wood-engraving.
