Printed on the full sheet of stout cream wove paper c.31.5 x 25 cm.signed and dated in the plate, as published by Virtue & Co. with the title beneath in the outer plate-mark. C.J.Watson RE. born and worked in Norfolk, exhibited at the RA, Fellow of the Royal Society of Painters Etchers & Engravers 1881,moved to London in about 1888,worked in France and Italy and exhibited widely at most of the major exhibitions in those countries and in London.
