Printed on a sheet of hand-made laid paper c.25.5 x 19.5.cm.in ochre and black.This is a proof of the wood-cut which was published in the scarce Italian periodical L’Eroica No.59/60. 1919. Sir Frank Brangwyn R.A. RWS. R.E. was a prolific print maker working mainly in etching but with occasional lithographs and woodcuts and engravings. W. Gaunt published a catalogue of the etchings in 1926 but so far, there is no catalogue of the wood-engravings. More items by this artist in stock.
