Printed in colours on India paper laid onto a stout backing sheet of white wove paper c.58.5 x 45.5 cm. signed in pencil. Published by Williams & Norgate 5th. April 1927 with details printed just below the image. The original oil painting (1892-3) by John Singer Sargent is held at the Scottish National Gallery in Edinburgh. A superb coloured mezzotint by a master of the medium.
