Printed by W.S.Cowell Ltd. from four plates in green, yellow, grey and black on a sheet of cream wove paper c.19.5 x 28 cm. with the text “Drawing by Henry Moore. First proof from a plate prepared experimentally” beneath the image.This experimental lithograph was drawn directly on the plastic plates by the artist. There was also a signed edition limited to 50 copies containing this image plus another similar image published by School Prints. (Moore prints catalogue No. 14.) On the verso is the text explaining the process. As published by Penrose Annual in 1950.
