Published in Oxford by Bruno Cassirer, No. 15/100 copies signed by the artist,12 drypoints printed on sheets of Millbourne hand-made white wove paper, each signed and numbered by the artist housed in the original leather-backed pictorial portfolio with ties with a preface by Gilbert Murray 8 pps. The etchings printed by William Collins. Katerina Wilczynski was born in Poznan Poland and studied in Berlin and Leipzig winning the Prix de Rome in 1930. Moved to London in the 1930’s and has work held in the National Portrait Gallery and in the V & A,BM. and galleries in Dresden and Cologne. Ref; Buckman.Guichard.
