Printed by the artist on a full sheet of cream japan wove paper c.32 x 47.5 cm. c.12.5/8 x 18.5/8 inches. and signed in pencil bottom right margin. Peter Halm studied at the Munich Kunstakademie and in 1895 was appointed professor of etching.He taught many of the German late 19th. and early 20th.cent. etchers and was regarded as one of the best etchers of the period.
